Article: The impact of online games on learning English vocabulary by Iranian(Low Intermediate) EFL Learners
The use of online games is the effective ways of improving children's vocabulary acquisition. This is one of the easiest ways in interactive development and motivation of children. Children will be like this more because they get lessons while playing. They enjoy the games because they have a goal to win. This will build an individual rivalry and they enjoy the atmosphere. The result of it is the development of vocabulary learning. They will find new vocabulary almost everyday. So it can develop their motivation to do more. I think it's a good one because young learners would prefer to play from the monotonous learning classes in the classroom. I myself sometimes feel that way. That is a natural thing because they are in phase to play a lot rather than learn. So the best advantages of online games is "they are learning while playing".
