Review of : Why Findland’s Schools Are So Successfull
Compulsory education in Finland starts at the age of 7 years, no early childhood education. They never have homework.
Even based on what I have read, the study time in school is only 5 hours with a 45 minute break time. In a class of no more than 20 students, so teachers will be more effective in teaching.
For teachers, Finland only chose the best graduates from the best universities. in addition, teachers in Finland will be given free funding to proceed to a master's degree. Teachers became one of the highest paid professions in Finland. So it is not wrong if education in Finland to be the best. They have high quality teachers who make their students have high quality too.
What is your opinion if Indonesia apply Finland's education system? I am personally not sure, but why we dont try it first. Why not?
