60. Five Blind men and an Elephant - By ESL Garden

In the past, there was a city where everyone was blind. A king and his army are walking near the city. The king rode on an elephant. He uses elephants to do hard work, and to fight. People in the blind city have heard of elephants, but never close to an elephant. Five young men ran to see what an elephant was like. then they one by one came to touch and then told them all, and finally there was an old woman coming and touching in every part of the elephant. He listened to the sound of the animal he made. He found the elephant's mouth and gave it a treatment, and stroked his suitcase. When I got back to town, everyone was screaming and arguing. Each of the five young men found people who believed what they said about the elephant. "It's like a wall!" "It's like a snake!" "It's like a knife!" "It's like a tree!" "It's like a rope!" then the old lady came back to her house, laughed and remembered when she was young, and thought she could know the truth from others.
