Review of : CANGGET DANCE

One of the dances typical of Lampung Cangget dance. Cangget dance is always displayed in traditional ceremonies or ceremonies of Lampung, such as: when will build a house, harvest, or take people on the pilgrimage. 

Cangget dance is played by young men and young women in the village. It can also be used as a place to find a mate. 

There are many types of Cangget dances, including: 

1. Cangget Nyambuk Bertamu: a dance to welcome guests who come to their area. '

2. Cangget Bakha: dance at harvest ceremony. 

3. Cangget Penanggik: a dance to welcome new members in their family. 

4. Cangget Pilangan: dance when they become new members in a family. 

5. Cangget Agung : dance when held ceremony Cakak Pepadun (lifting the head of culture).

   Despite its many types, each type of Cangget dance has a similarity in terms of movement. These dances not only contain aesthetic elements, but harmonization and gratitude. 

Honestly, this is the first time to know this. 19 more years I live in Lampung, but things like this I do not know (embarrassing > close my face). Yes, even though I am not a native of Lampung, but I need to know the ins and outs of where I live now.
