Review of Book 1st (Treasure Island)

"Yo-Ho-Ho and a bottle of rum!"
The ex-Pirate Captain always sings like that. This is a part I like when I first read this book. I read this book on pdf that i have got. When I first read the title I thought it was interesting fiction story. Not as I thought, this book is very difficult to understand. In a one page I took a long time to understand because the words used were very strange to me. I had time to stop reading this book but if it's not an interesting topic and I like, I willn't give a review about this book. This novel was able to keep on the mind of everybody the storytelling appeal of the topic of pirates inspiring successes on other media such as Japanese anime "Captain Harlock" and live actions films of "Pirates of the Caribbean". I found many versions of this book.

So the story goes like this. It started at a lodging place. This adventure story begins with an unpleasant guest at the Admiral Benbow Inn who the young and courageous Jim Hawkins overhears telling dreadful stories of hangings, walking the plank, storms at sea, and an evil place called Skeleton Island. An alchohol ex-Pirate Captain spends his days in the local bar while drinking himself while singing cheerful pirate songs. "Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum" etc. He, unfortunately, passed away and left a crate containing a secret map among other possessions. This map is highly sought after by everyone. Jim Hawkin found the map and talked to his friends. Livesey and an officer, Mr. Trelawney and they decided to venture into this mystical treasure island to find the treasure. Leaving from Bristol, they gather a ships worth of pirates and hands. Experienced in their own ways but none more so than pleasant, pub-owning ship's cook Long John Silver. So off they go on this adventure. They get the treasure and go home and live happily ever after.

I like the main character , Jim Hawkin is a great character. This is typically seen as a children's book and having the first person perspective shown from the view of a young kid adds to the remarkableness of the story. The second famous character is Long John Silver. He is the most complex character in this short book. Certainly the character of Long John Silver stands out as one of the best developed characters in the history of literature becoming a model to many following similar ones. He is able to do ruthless things but he has a code, he has limits, and not matter that he is not a nice person, there are things that he never will do and for that, he is a complicated and truly interesting character to read about. There are lots of cool scenes. Shootouts on the Island between Jim Hawkins vs Israel Hands.
I love this exciting book and the way it describes the amazing life and thrilling story of the the crew, the boy and the pirates. It made me feel great about reading gripping and fun stories! Many new words I found added a bit to my vocabulary. The author's story may be difficult for me to understand. Somehow I think the author's writing is great.
