Article: Gender stereotype analysis of the textbooks for young learners
Actually I do not really understand what is meant by Gender Stereotype. But from the understanding that I read Gender Stereotype is a kind of stereotype. It can be found in illustration in books or textbooks. It can be seen from the characters and the role of male and female. Almost all textbooks reveal that the character of male are more active, more playing and the character of female is someone who cares for the child. I think the character difference is a fact. Can be seen in a family, the character of a father is different from the character of a mother. A father is better able to teach children to play physically while the mother is more concerned with the development of children psychologically. So the conclusion is male and female have different character, no matter how it is, the most important thing is how to teach the children understand about it.
