Google will soon provide access for us to check our mental health online. People looking for "depression" in the search box will get a link to the questionnaire with nine questions, it will check whether we are depressed or not. Google has partnered with the US National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) in the project.
Questionnaires can help people get treatment faster. Google says that they believe the awareness of depression can [enable] faster medical access, although some doctors say it's better to offer a chat box for psychological services.
