"China ends one-child policy"

China has ended its one-child policy for decades. Now all couples will be allowed to have two children. The one-child policy began in 1979. This is to control the population and avoid high levels of poverty. It's not tightly held and there are many exceptions. About one-third of the population can have just one child. More than half are allowed to have a second child if the first child is a girl. The new two-child policy should improve fertility rates.
The new two-child policy should boost China's economy and stop China from becoming an aging society. China's workforce is 930 million in 2014. This policy is to expand the population in china to have sufficient human resources in many companies in china.
