The Words Need 69 million more theachers
A report from the United Nations says the world needs 69 million more teachers by 2030. The agency says a lot of work needs to be done to find the number of teachers for schools. The largest number of required teachers is in sub-Saharan Africa and southern Asia. UNESCO says there needs to be a great effort to get 69 million teachers. The UN report warns that there is a shortage of teachers in countries with rising populations. This makes it harder to find enough teachers because more and more children are born.
