This study was conducted with the aim of obtaining information about the practice of using books and reading for preschool children in accordance with peer perspective. This study explains how children respond to the books they read and how they use the book and read to build adaptations in the classroom.
The sample consisted of 16 children including Malay, Chinese and Indian.
methods used with qualitative approaches.
The results show that children can extend social skills and are ready to study in primary school. Teachers can also learn from how children view reading as a creative, imaginative, dynamic and meaningful activity if classrooms are structured in a conducive environment.
  Peer interaction books supply the opportunity for children to explore books according to their tastes and interests in reading with peers. So read is important to improve children's literacy. This study extends the book's perspective as a cultural object and equipment. This study also describes adults as an amplifier / guide in the process of reading.
