Did you know that today's teenagers are growing more slowly. Researchers see 8 million adolescents over the last 40 years. Teenagers of this age are less responsible than teenagers in their 70s, 80s and 90s. 18 year olds aged like this are 15 years old. Teenagers are currently taking less risk than ever before.

Today's teens take longer to do things their parents do, like dating, working, driving, and renting their own rooms. A professor says they have a "sluggish life strategy". One reason is the large number of teens living on the Internet and not "real world". Another reason is that parents do too much for their children.
