Research shows that people who read a lot of his life longer. Reading for 30 minutes a day can help prolong life, because reading keeps our mind busy, reduces stress and good for our health. Books help the brain more than newspapers and magazines, but any good reading. In the study, researchers observed lifestyle, reading habits, health and education of 3,500 men and women for 12 years. Everyone is over 50 years old at the start of the study.
The study found that people who read up to 3.5 hours a week were 17 percent less likely to die than those who did not like to read. So use more reading time than watching television.
