Free Reading "Botle Light"

Bottle Light

one of the major problems of poverty is that there is no electricity or very expensive electricity. Many homes do not have lights so they are always very dark inside. Alfredo Moser is an engineer from Brazil, he has a good idea and that's very simple. He put water in a plastic bottle, like a 2-liter bottle of Coca Cola, and he added a little bleach. Next, he cut a hole in the roof and stuck the bottle in there with glue so no rain could enter the house. Now, the sunlight touches the bottle and the water shines into the house. You do not need electricity or technology, just a bottle of water and that has changed the lives of millions of people around the world. They use these bottle lamps in Brazil, India, Fiji and many other countries.

The bottle light is not just for the poor. Many people who want to help the environment put them in their homes.
