Promoting Extensive Reading among Chinese Students
Learning Thai as a Foreign Language
This article is the result of a study that examines the students' reading ability in China. they aim to improve students' reading ability by providing materials or texts that are interesting to read. and it is advisable to choose interesting reading material and match the individual reading level in order to gain a better reading comprehension. This study explores the reading ability of Chinese students after being assigned to read Thai texts for outdoor enjoyment for one semester. The purpose of reading is for global understanding so that the details of the text are not emphasized or graded.
