Promoting reading literacy

This article discusses today literary teachers face serious problems because their students lack the ability to approach literary texts. this is because their reading comprehension is bad. then this prevents them from acquiring further general knowledge and also for obtaining a broader vocabulary. so researchers promote literary reading using the medium of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). a good reading comprehension will foster students' reading interest. so that the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools is appropriate because the tool is familiar to high school students.
