Self-harm

From the stories I have read, there has been an increase in reports of self-harm among teenage girls in the United Kingdom. Researchers from the University of Manchester looked at data on nearly 17,000 patients from over 600 surgery doctors. The researchers found there was a 68 percent increase in self-harm between 13 and 16 girls over the three-year period of the study. The study says that the level of self-violence among girls is three times higher in boys. True problem is what has been the trend. Therefore early service to support these children is very important. Without this, the consequences could really be a matter of life or death. "Self-harm is one of the biggest factors for suicide among teenagers.
