Researchers looked at factors in 50 homes to find out why insects choose where they live. Most insects live on the ground, carpeted rooms with lots of windows. Fruit flies and ladybirds love the living room. Spiders, ants and beetles prefer dark and damp rooms. Bugs also clean up the garbage we create. A researcher hopes to better understand how we can live with insects and how they help our health.
