''Sing to the Dawn''
A novel “Sing to the Dawn” tells of Dawan, a young village
girl living in Thailand, won a scholarship to study at a city school. Her
sister, Kwai, the second and jealous place initially, caused a rift between the
two siblings who were close at hand. This enmity was further exacerbated by
Dawan's father, who felt that the city was not a place for women. Dawan faces
obstacles at every opportunity, and finally overcomes these barriers and proves
to herself and others that she is truly capable of handling the scholarship and
responsibilities she has. Finally Dawan also achieved his success with a
scholarship she received, until she became the best graduate from her school
and her father and mother became proud of her.
