People say Mugabe wants his wife, Grace Mugabe, to be the next president. Mugabe fired his deputy, so the army controlled the capital. Zimbabwe used to be called Rhodesia. In 1980 there was an election. Robert Mugabe and the Zanu party won the election. Many people now enjoy the time as the leader is coming to an end. A 34-year-old street protester said: "I have been waiting all my life for today, and finally we are free."
