this is a beautiful novel about family. this book tells the story of a mixed-blooded teenage girl who lived in America in the 70s-a Chinese-American family. his father, James, is a descendant of china. while his wife, Marilyn, has white skin. they have 3 children namely Nath, Hannah and lidya. in this book Lidya died of suicide. in this book also tells why lidya died. Lidya is her parents' favorite. Lidya's parents loved her more than her other siblings.
