there is a family that lived in poverty that is Kino's family. kino is just a fisherman who daily looking for pearls. kino lived with his wife Juana and his son Ciyotito. one day Ciyotito is bitten by a scorpion and Juana who known about it immediately shouted and he brought Ciyotito to a doctor with Kino. They went to doctor accompanied by the neighbors. Arriving at the doctor's house, they are rejected by doctors because doctors though they can not pay medical expenses. kino felt angry at the doctor and they decided to go home. Kino went to sea to look for pearls and he dived into the ocean until he finally found a shell containing a very large pearl. it is heard by everyone and they are busy talking about it and want to have the pearl. the doctor who heard the news came to the house kino to treat ciyotito and also there is a priest who advised them to gave property. one night the kino house was rushed by a robber and kino killed him instantly. the next day kino went to the city to sold his pearl but all the merchants, he approached have compromised to buy his pearls at a low price then kino got angry and he would sold his big pearl out of town, but by the time he returned to his boat he saw that his boat has destroyed as well as his burning house. he decided to go to his brother's house and decided to go out of town at night on foot. They went through the beach, the forest and at the time they rested, Kino saw there were 3 people who followed them. they continue their journey up to the mountain and they break in the cave, but from a distance kino saw the 3 more people and kino intend to kill them but one of the robbers fired ciyotito. with a very angry kino killing to the 3 raiders. the next day kino goes to sea to dump the pearl and the pearl is gone.
