Rapidly progressive cognitive impairment with Neuropsychiatric
symptoms as the initial manifestation of status Epilepticus.
Resurrection is a sign and
symptom of epilepsy, but not all awakening is a sign of a Neurologic
disorder. Awakening can also result from
low blood sugar levels, infections, fever, severe head injury, lack of oxygen,
and these are not epilepsy. Awakening can also be a mental or physical
disorder. Non epileptic seizures are a resembling epileptic resemblance but
have different causes. Unlike epileptic seizures, non epileptic seizures are
not caused by changes in brain activity. Also a sudden, sudden, and short-lived
event in which there is a change in a conscious person everywhere, and under
any circumstances his behavior or feelings. Causes of non epileptic seizures
are Cocaine use, Psychogenic, acute head injury, Uremia, Eclampsia, High fever,
and Hypoxemia.
One of the things that should be
done for further examination is by EEG Inspection is used to view electrical
activity in the brain. In non epilepsy seizures, usually EEG results do not
show any pathological changes in electrical activity in the brain. So the
results of this EEG examination is very useful to determine whether the
epileptic seizures that occur is epileptic or not. After knowing it, when it
happens it then the first step should be done is to prevent further injury due
to seizures. Put the patient in a non-hazardous place, or prevent head injuries
from falling. Whatever the cause then it is best to give treatment to the
seizure until the seizure stops.
