2020 Olympics
There are more mixed gender and more women's events at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. There will be a 4x400m mixed relay in athletics and a 4x100m mixed relay in the swim. Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty told the BBC that having a variety of events in Tokyo would make the Olympics more fun. Having a newer sport means there are athletes in more traditional shows like weightlifting and wrestling. Tokyo will be the most balanced Olympic gender ever. Women will produce 48.8 percent of athletes who will compete in the Olympics.
