This book has 80 pages and 6 chapters and the main characters are Michael and Andrew. This book is about a primary school boy named Michael Lacey Freeman who was bullied by his school friends. But he tried to solve all his problems independently without the help of his parents. He's a strong, intelligent man.

Chapter 1: The Monster Horse
January 2, 1973
Michael is called by his friends as "Egghead", this is because his head is bigger than his body. He has no real friends, but he has an invisible friend named Andrew.
In the classroom he tries to show everything he can, but whatever he does is always laughed at, like reading poem.
He spends his time reading and playing soccer alone. The problem is in the class he did not tell his father and mother.

Chapter 2: A Day at School
February 3, 1973
Monday morning he went to school, but this thing he never expected, he did not like to go to school because of the bully. Every morning he meets an old man in half way up the hill. After entering the class, Kevin immediately do bullying Michael. When the break comes, he wants to join the game with his friends but he they do not want him to come into play. When the school hours for the first time he has a real friend, named David, David also was bullied like him.

Chapter 3: egg and bacon and the invisible ball
March 6, 1973
Since that day he has always been with David and only those who do not call the name egg and bacon. They love to run abd play ball, they are happy because Kevin, Clive and his friends come into play. Although they ended up playing with an invisible ball because the teacher forbade them to play the ball, but from then on if there is a game Michael can play with friends. Every holiday Michael plays in the garden at David's house. Yes, they spend a lot of time together.

Chapter 4: The Old Man
April 9, 1973
After being bored with the invisible ball game, Michael and David read many books, to replace their activities. David invited Michael to go on vacation to London next week, because it was a birthday gift from David's parents. Finally they go and enjoy the holiday. They went to zoo, Hyde Park, and the National History Museum. Upon returning home, Michael attends school as usual, greeting him and getting acquainted with an elderly father named Tom whom he always sees in the way he always goes.

Chapter 5: Tom's Story
The next morning he wakes up early to be able to talk to Tom. Tom calls him Cherub which means little angel. He is one of those other than the parents and David who does not call as Egghead. At school, he always remembered Tom's saying that Michael was smart and motivated by giving an example of what he had done back then that did not care what people said because people did not know how our lives were, so it did not matter again with friends who always bullies. Finally his friends did not really bully him anymore.
At school there is a new teacher named Mrs. Hewitt, Michael loves it. She assigns the task of writing essays about people who are important in her life, and whose best results will be read in front of school next week. Michael wants to win it.

Chapter 6: The Prize
Finally Michael's essay became the best. He writes about Tom, he tells who Tom really is for people to know that he was a hero when he used to help 3 children whose house was on fire. She tells everything that happened to her to her mother including how she was brimmed.
When the day to read the essay has arrived, parents and tom come to see it. Since then Tom became known to people even the things he once did in the mass media.
After everything can be resolved and no more bully words in his life, Andrew also missing. Michael feels Andrew's job is over.
