Oil pipeline protest joined by military veterans
Based on what I read, People in North America are angry because a company is building a $ 3.8 billion oil pipeline near their land. The people of Sioux have lived in the land for thousands of years. Sioux is a Native American. Many protesters want to stop the pipeline because the drinking water is dirty. It will also damage Sioux's historic site. A Texas company, Energy Transfer Partners, has 1,885 km of pipeline. It is almost done.
They now include U.S. military veterans. (retired soldiers, sailors, etc.).
