Modelling of gas flow in the underground coal gasification process and its interactions with the rock environment.

Ansys-Design Modeler. The three dimensional model was import with Ansys-Fluent software. Based on the 3D model. Underground coal gasification converts coal to gas while still in the coal seam. Gas is produced and extracted through wells drilled into the unmined coal seam. UCG is an in-situ gasifications process carried out in non-mined coal seams using injection of oxidants, and bringing the product gas to surface through production wells drilled from the surface. The data obtain from the numerical model were compared with the experimental results and statistically analysed. The geochemical model which predict. PHREEQC software. Chemical reactions, The chemical reactions the groundwater environment depend on mineral composition, texture of rocks, filtration properties, temperature, the concentration of syngas components, the flow rate of syngas and the chemical composition of groundwater.
