LSPR effect of Aunanoparticles/ZnO nano-composite films.

Zinc oxide is an inorganic compound with the formula  ZnO. ZnO is a white powder that insoluble in water, and it is widely used as an additive in numerous materials and products including rubbers, plastics, ceramics, glass, cement, lubricants, paints, ointments, adhesives, sealants, pigments, foods, batteries, ferrites, fire retardants, and first-aid tapes. Although it occurs naturally as the mineral zincite, most zinc oxide is produced synthetically. Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is the resonant oscillation of conduction electrons at the interface between negative and positive permittivity material stimulated by incident light. SPR is the basis of many standard tools for measuring adsorption  of material onto planar metal (typically gold or silver) surfaces or onto the surface of metal nanoparticles. The characteristic of Au nanoparticles has shown an obvious peak of absorbance located at 519 nm due to the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effect.
