Saudi EFL students’ reading interests
This study examines the interest in reading of Saudi EFL teacher-college students' in the UK where there are several factors that inhibit their reading interest. students have a high interest in reading stories, adventure books, religious books, internet magazines, world news events, computer magazines, technological progress magazines, sports magazines, local newspapers, newspaper sports, books on the internet , picture magazines, computer books, novels, poetry, and drama. and what they do not like is economics. barriers to reading interest among others, they rarely go to libraries, lack of reading facilities such as at least public libraries, lack of reading material, time constraints, trust to do better than reading, etc. for that students need to be socialized with reading materials that can interest them according to their level and reading ability.
