'Good or bad collaborative wiki writing: Exploring links between group interactions and writing products'

This article report a case study that examined collaborative wiki writing, texts, and explored the links between wiki-mediated interactions and wiki products when 4 small group of ESL students performed at research proposal writing task in an english for Academic Purpose course. By analyzing features of rhetorical structure, coherence, and accurracy, supplemensed with the scores given by 2 raters.
Results revealed than group 1, which demostrated a collective pattern, produced the reserach proposal of the highest writing quality. Followed by 2 that examplified an expert/novice pattern. Group 3 and 4 that exhabited a dominant/defensive pattern an a cooperating in parrallel pattern respectively produced research proposals of relatively low quality.
