A report from WHO says that processed meats (bacon, hot dogs, ham, sausages, canned meat, and meat sauce) cause cancer. 50g (2 pieces of bacon or 1 sausage) of processed meat a day can increase the chance of getting cancer by 18 percent. Eating red meat can also carry risks.

WHO warns people about processed and red meat, but red meat has health benefits because it has many important vitamins. So it is recommended that we eat less processed meat and more fruits and vegetables.
