In the last decade, British people aged 70-74 years worked for older age that is doubled. More than 250,000 now have jobs. In 2005, only 100,000. People decided to retire later. One of the reasons people work in their old age is because retirement pensions are harder to live. Many parents can not retire. They must work in order to survive.

Many people work in their retirement age. Many people need to earn extra money because they can not afford to retire. Parents now need good jobs and retirement so they can choose whether they want to keep working. More and more parents start their own business. This is something they may have dreamed of for years.
