Research proves that coffee has 1,800 chemical components. If you combine these in different ways to make coffee, there are plenty of numbers. The mathematicians have to use a lot of complex calculations to find the right method. Researchers focused on what happens to coffee as it passes through a coffee machine.
This research can change the way coffee machines are made. One researcher said that he wanted, "a complete coffee-making mathematical model that you can use to design a coffee machine, like we use theory to design racing cars." Coffee lovers may soon change the taste of coffee as they sift through and brew it. They can change the water temperature, the size of the coffee powder, the length of time it takes to make it, and more.
