Sonny Liew won three Eisner awards for his book "Tbe Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye", It is a book on rewriting the history of Singapore. The awards are held at San Diego Comic-Con. Liew was surprised that the book was successful, he never expected it to happen. He just wants people to read his book and understand it. The book brought a lot of attention and boosted sales of the book.
