The United States broke the record for airline mechanics. Azriel Blackman started work in 1942, for 75 years. He is responsible for the need for maintenance of aircraft parked in the hangar overnight. He has been recognized for his dedication. His employer dedicated a plane in his honor. Blackman said he was proud to be a mechanic.
