"Challenges in assessing the devolopment of writing ability: Theories, Contructs and Methods"

   This article discusses three sets of challenges involved in writing from a developmental perspective. These challenges include defining developmental theories that can be done, developing appropriate constructs, and overcoming the limitations of technocentric approaches to writing appraisals. In North America in recent years, a number of scientists are constantly evolving to explore the development of writing skills through research transfer knowledge lenses. Discusses about limitations in current and traditional conceptions of transfer, proposing a bioecological transfer model to solve this problem. Beaufort's (2007) is discussed as a promising framework for defining this construction. Related to this challenge is the limitation of assessment technology.
