A study from Michigan State University says that unmarried people have a higher risk of heartbreak, but researchers say that stress on unhappy marriages has a greater impact on our hearts.

Researchers study the health of 1,200 married people (ages 57 to 85.) They ask couples 'whether they spend spare time with their partners and can trust them.' Doctors compare the quality of marriage to the number of heart attacks and strokes that people have, and the result is that people who experience bad marriages are more depressed and have high blood pressure.
