The official said the law would damage the Austrian economy. Many Muslim tourists may decide not to visit Austria. Austria is the third European country to ban the hijab. France and Belgium introduced a ban in 2011. The Islamic Community in Austria spoke of the new legal injustices. It is said that "a handful" of veiled women in Austria are now "criminals" and must stay in their homes. I disagree with this ban.
