Indonesia is an independent country, but not 180 years ago. Indonesia is a colony of the Dutch state, at that time the Indonesian people are very miserable life, even some of them who go to school because of the cruelty of the Dutch people.

He asked to stop but the Dutch did not want to stop him, so there was a war between them. At that time the resistance led by Prince Diponegoro did not have as many weapons as the Dutch people had, so they used a tactic of warfare by the way they hid behind the forest then they suddenly attacked the Dutch and then hid again in the forest. Dutch troops are not good at fighting so Diponegoro easily escaped from the pursuit of the Dutch. The Dutchman's tactic was that they built a large, long road so they did not have to pass through the forest and fight with the Diponegoro troops.
At that time, many were hostile to the Dutch so they made an agreement to make peace with the Indonesians by the way they gave the land to those who wanted to leave Diponegoro, but no one listened. The war lasted for about 5 years, until at one point Diponegoro attended a meeting with prominent Dutch leaders after the meeting they promised to return to their home country, but they lied, they kidnapped Pangeran Diponegoro and took him to Jakarta, then he was moved from Java to an island. Until finally he died there. Now Diponegoro is remembered by using its name as a street name even on the island of Java there is Diponegoro University. Prince Diponegoro is one of thousands of Indonesian heroes who fought Dutch troops to defend their own country, until this country is free as it is today.
