Many L2 recognize that an interactive classroom also benefits L2 by providing them with an enhanced oral language environment in which to develop literacy skills. This article tell about the functions of oral language in University English as a second language (ESL) composition class. Finding indicate relatively little classroom talk devoted to topic invention and development or to oral research of potential writte text. And the critical rol that transmission style instruction and textbook use play in determining the oral diacourse characteristics of composition class.
