The Eyes
When he was a boy, his father took me to the movies. Outside the cinema there was a statue of a famous person. It had the most beautiful glass eyes. He thought nobody was watching, so he quickly took the eyes from the statue and put them in pocket.
After the film, we went home for supper. At home, father suddenly started to cry out. "Oh, my eyes!" he shouted. "I'm blind! I can't see!"
