Calvin and Hobbes
Calvin and Hobbes is
the most successful comic strip of all
time. It was created by
writer and artist Bill Watterson. It is about a
small six year old boy,
Calvin, and his tiger, Hobbes. For Calvin, Hobbes
is a real
live tiger who is his
best friend but to everybody
else, Hobbes is just a toy. The comic is
written in strips. Calvin and Hobbes has been printed
in 2400 newspapers around the world.
People often ask
Bill where he got the idea
for Calvin. He says that Calvin is from his
own childhood and that he
was interested in similar things.
