The sample used was thirty healthy mothers with varying levels of depressive symptoms. Results: In an adult-based mind-reading task, mothers with more severe symptoms of depression show less
activation of the right inferior frontal gyroscope, the central part of the putative mirror neuron system (pMNS).
  These points indicate that proper right inferior right functional frontal activation, which underlies aToM's ability. Variable susceptibility to maternal depressive symptoms corresponds to the type of social signal.
