This novel is about
a story of Jake, a young man that had a trip to London. He was very happy while
he arrived to London. At that day, he went to Notting Hill Carnival by taking a
red bus. In the bus, there was a family sitting in front of him and they wanted
to go to the carnival too.
At the Notting Hill,
he sat on a bench and saw some people in costumes. He asked his friend if the
carnival was going to start and his friend said yes. Jake looked at a tall
beautiful girl in her carnival costume. Their eyes met and she smiled at him.
Suddenly he knew. It’s love! He fell in
love to the girl at the first sight.
Jake always wanted
to see her, so he followed the girl. But the people are too crowded and Jake
could not find the girl. After he found the girl, he said his name and asked
her about her name. She said the her name was Maria. Jake was very happy.
The procession of
the carnival was still on. Jake looked for Maria and took a camera from a man.
He took a photograph of Maria. The man was looking for him, and he was helped
by a policeman. After they found Jake, they caught him and brought him to the
police station. Jake said sorry to the man and return the camera back because
actually he just wanted a photograph of Maria. The man felt pity to Jake and
asked the policeman to let him go, but the policeman did not let it. He checked
Jake’s bag and he just found little things from his bag. Jake was a good boy.
Afterwards, the
policeman asked Jake about the photograph, and Jake gave it to him. He looked
at it and smiled. Then he asked his friend about a policewoman. Jake did not
understand anything. Suddenly, the policeman called the policewoman. She came
and Jake looked at her. They both were surprised. The police woman was Maria.
Maria lied to the policeman that she went o meet the doctor at that time he
went to the carnival.
This is a good
story. I feel so interested. This book has a good story and it is very
enjoyable to read.
