This novel is about a story of Mr Brown, an old man that leave alone and feel lonely. He did everything alone every day. On a bright day, he walked after worked to his home. He passed a store that sold old things there. He got in the store and saw an old man doll with sad face. He thought that maybe the doll felt lonely too, so he bought  the doll. That is an ugly doll. But , the doll smiled to him when he brought it to his home.

At home, Mr Brown ate his dinner, then he slept. In the morning, he felt that there  is something on his bed. He saw the doll, he was so confused because he remember that he left the doll on the table last night. Then, he went to work again. He got in to a bus. In the bus, there is an old woman that looked so tired, so Mr Brown let her to sit on his chair. But, suddenly he heard a strange voice came from his case. He stopped the bus and got out from it. He opened his case and saw the doll there. Then, he left the doll in the bus station. After worked, Mr Brown saw the doll smiled to him from the bus station, but he suddenly run to his house and left the doll again.

Afterwards, Mr Brown took a rest at his bed and slept. But, in the middle of his sleep, he heard a noise from his home. Then he looked at the room and what happened. There is the doll there. Mr Brown was very angry. He took the doll and buried it to the garden.

Next day, he went to work again, he did tiring things so he felt so tired. He went bed at 11 o’clock. The house was dark and quiet. But, an hour later, he heard a strange noise from the back door. He was afraid but he still open the door. He saw the dirty doll there. He was very angry, then  he made a fire from woods in his garden and put the doll there. The fire became bigger and bigger, and suddenly a aloud cry was heard. Mr Brown neighbor saw a big fire in his garden. They were looking for Mr Brown, but the could not find him. But on the ground near the fire, they saw an ugly doll with smile in its face.

Actually, I don’t like this story, this story is very scary. The doll is so cruel. How poor Mr Brown. He is a good man, but he should face bad things like that. I hope that the things like that will never happen anymore.
