There were the first people about 5,000 years ago, which is lived in Canada, Greenland and the north of America named The Inuit. They spoke Eskimo-Aleut languages, but people from different place can understand each other because there is not much differences. Most Inuit also lived near the see because most of their food came from there.Their food was the fish and animals that they caught. They usually used boats to through the water quickly, then catch the animal and fish. However, a long time ago The Inuit used stone and animal bones to make knives and the other things they needed.
