'Expressive writing'
Expressive writing (written emotional disclosure) is a brief writing activity that encoueages the expression of one's deepest thought and feelings about a personallity important or stressful experience. Appirently, expressive writing has the potential for clinical utility, because participants who write inthis way, relatif to those who write about emotionally neutral topics, often show meaningful improvements in physical and mental health outcomes, immune functioning, and depressive symptoms. But it is use must carefully considered.
