Hundreds of thousands of tourists visit the ancient city of Pompeii as a major tourist destination each year. Some of those who took historic objects returned it because they suffered bad luck. They returned the things they took with their bad travel letters. I think the letter is more interesting than that thing. And this should be used as an exhibition to show that the object is really historic and should not be taken.
