The Sahara is one of the world's most famous and largest deserts that are twice as old as we think. The statement placed on science books that Sahara is about three million years old. However, Norway's climate research center says that it could be around seven million years old. Scientists say the Sahara first began when global warming of seven million years dries up and forms sand dunes in Chad.
