From the article I read, explaining that common resources are unruly natural resource and social systems of individual consumption levels. To avoid the tragedy of common interest, the privatization or common ownership of common resources is often regarded as the most efficient way to manage these resources. Alternatively, there are many examples of local communities that have successfully developed local regulations and institutions to manage their shared resources on a sustainable basis worldwide. In this new global era of Anthropocene, it is vital to tackle global environmental issues through a global governance framework.
