This study aims to determine the popular beliefs about linguistics and linguists what. We knew that linguistics is very influential because in linguistics many methods and theories are about language as well as our ability to speak. Research attempted to find out whether linguistic exposure could educate the general public about the field and dispel myths and misconceptions.
